Hello friends, family, and other people who are bored enough to read my amateur style blog. Right now I am sitting in a coffee shop procrastinating writing a paper for my summer English class, so in my time of denial and avoidance I decided that it would be a good idea to start my first blog post. Just to tell you a little of where my head is at right now, it is 9:30 on a Saturday night so the coffee shop is very empty except for two ninth grade age girls that are working hard on their school provided chromebooks. My butt sweat on the chair is making my legs slightly sticky, and I am really regretting eating that cookie dough ice cream for breakfast. I just re-downloaded snapchat solely for the purpose of using the filter that makes you look like a boy. Turns out I am much more attractive as a computer generated man. All this to say, I feel like today is the perfect moment in my life to share my thoughts with the online world. If you are friends with me or have hung out with me in the past month, I have probably discussed with you my desire to start a blog. Because I have talked about it so much, I now feel like I would seem like a wimp if I didn't actually start one. So here I am, putting myself out there, being brave, or being just plain stupid. Depends on how you look at it honestly. I don't really know why I am starting a blog because I really don't have anything resounding or intriguing to share. If you were to ask me in person why I want to start a blog I would probably tell you something basic about wanting to share my thoughts with the world, but deep down in my heart it's probably because I just want attention. I originally got the idea to blog from a few of my other friends who have blogs themselves. I thought it would be a fun way to be unique, but I also realize that basically every girl trying to convey their individuality has a blog, so it's not exactly the most original way to express myself. Hence the name of my blog: Bandwagon. I am very much hopping on the bandwagon of blogging and am very excited to do so. I don’t really know the purpose of this blog, but I am excited to see where it will go. So thanks for reading this far, and I hope I will be able to provide you with some laughs and thoughts as we figure out why the heck I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog.
